We are pleased to announce that Dr. Joseph Schrader, an assistant professor working with Dr. William Van Nostrand, has received a two-year R03 grant for the "Next Generation of Researchers in ADRD Research" initiative. The grant, titled "Induction of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps by Beta-Amyloid Deposits in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy," will provide support for Dr. Schrader's study of the role of neutrophils in the development of cerebral amyloid angiopathy. This recognition highlights Dr. Schrader's expertise in the field and offers a valuable opportunity to explore the complex disease mechanisms in cerebral amyloid angiopathy and its interaction with the innate immune system.
